Peter Cannone, Chief Executive Officer
With two decades of leadership and sales experience, Peter Cannone is the top executive of OnForce, with ultimate responsibility for product development, operations, sales and marketing. Prior to assuming his current role, Cannone served as senior vice president of sales operations with PC Connection, where he was responsible for the company's IT solution provider base across customer sectors including small- to medium-sized business, higher education, government and Fortune 1000.
Having advanced through several executive-level positions at PC Connection, Merisel, MicroWarehouse and Xerox, Cannone has a broad perspective on overarching trends in the service sector and an extensive understanding of the technology services industry that is highly valued by the OnForce marketplace. Cannone earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Maria Battaglia, SVP of Marketing
With a wealth of experience in strategic branding, marketing and corporate communications for global technology and consumer brands, Maria Battaglia leads marketing strategy, brand and communications at OnForce. Battaglia was Chief Marketing Officer at Weplay.com, where she led all aspects of marketing for the youth sports social networking company.
She previously served as vice president of brand integration and partnerships for Monster.com, in addition to serving as a marketing partner for Polaris Venture Partners, a US $3B venture capital firm. Prior to this, Battaglia served as NBC's corporate vice president of communications and public affairs. Battaglia also worked at IBM's Internet Division, where she ran strategic communications for IBM's 1996 Atlanta Olympics Global sponsorship. She obtained her B.S. in Psychology from St. Lawrence University.
Venkat Gaddipati, SVP of Technology and CTO
With more than 20 years experience in technology, Venkat Gaddipati is responsible for technical strategy and implementation at OnForce. Previously, he was the Founder and SVP/CTO at Upromise Investments, Inc., a technology services provider for 529 plan administration and recordkeeping. While there, he built a high-performing technology team and drove the business and IT strategy by building the platform for both Direct Sold and Broker Sold plans.
Gaddipati also has held positions at State Street Global Advisors, Fidelity Investments, the TUXEDO development group at BEA Systems and AT&T Bell Labs. He earned a B.S. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology in Suratkal, India, and a master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania. Gaddipati also has a CISSP certification and is a member of IEEE Computer Society.
Edward McGovern, SVP of Sales and Business Development
As Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Edward McGovern brings more than twenty years of experience to the OnForce leadership team. Leading sales and business development, Edward will also be responsible for formulating the company's revenue goals as it continues to expand. McGovern was most recently at the EMC Corporation in their enterprise division, where he was responsible for sales groups delivering storage, software and professional services solutions.
McGovern has also led sales organizations for Danka Office Imaging, Advent Software, MicroWarehouse and Xerox Corporation, where he was responsible for the growth of sales, service and facility management. Edward holds a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from William Patterson University.
Paul Nadjarian, SVP of Product
Responsible for overseeing the development of the OnForce platform and implementation of programs to improve the user experience, Paul Nadjarian is OnForce's top product officer. Nadjarian was an executive at eBay, responsible for the growth of the eBay Motors Parts & Accessories business, which he rapidly grew to become the world's largest on-line marketplace for parts and accessories.
Earlier, he held several positions in sales and marketing within Ford Motor Company where he ran Ford's lead-management solution team. During his time at Ford, Nadjarian was co-founder of GreenLeaf, Inc., an automotive recycling venture within Ford. Nadjarian earned a B.S. in Economics from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Jeanette Tweed, VP of Finance and Administration
With more than 20 years of wide-ranging experience in finance and accounting, Jeanette Tweed is responsible for building and scaling the company's finance and administration infrastructure. Before joining OnForce, Tweed held executive financial positions at several technology-based companies, including CCBN, Inc. and Knowledge Impact. She was also an integral member of the finance team that executed a successful IPO of the Cambridge-based technology services firm, i-Cube, Inc. (later merged with Razorfish).
Before i-Cube, Jeanette spent nine years at The Boston Consulting Group during a time of tremendous revenue growth and geographic expansion, including 42 offices throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas. Jeanette began her career as a senior auditor at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, an international public accounting firm. She earned a B.S. in Accounting and Communications from Babson College.
