Members of the community can leverage the OnForce APIs to facilitate almost any buyer-side interaction with the marketplace.
Who is Leveraging the OnForce APIs?
Current developers are generally either employees of existing OnForce buyers or are independent developers who want to build
standalone widgets or applications that plug into OnForce. More specifically, the majority of the developers are:
- Current Service Buyers Who Want to Manage Work Orders Seamlessly — buyers that create and manage more than a handful of work orders per day generally find that integrating internal systems directly with the OnForce Marketplace streamlines service management.
- Local or Regional Service Companies Going National — geographically limited service companies are using OnForce to expand into national businesses - and a tight integration into the Marketplace facilitates national service expansion, enabling them to use service professionals from across the country.
- Non-Service Businesses Adding New Capabilities — hardware and software companies are adding on-site service to their product offerings, powered by the OnForce community of professionals.
- Independent Developers — either as consultants for existing buyers or on their own, technology professionals are building applications, plug-ins and widgets to make work order creation and management accessible to a broader audience.
